บ้านคีรีวง หมายถึง หมู่บ้านซึ่งอยู่ภายในวงล้อมของภูเขา เป็นชุมชนเก่าแก่ที่อพยพไปอาศัยอยู่เชิงเขาหลวง ตำบลกำโลน อันเป็นเส้นทางเดินขึ้นสู่ยอดเขาหลวง ชาวบ้านมีวิถีชีวิตที่สงบสังคมแบบเครือญาติ อาชีพหลักคือการทำสวนผลไม้ผสม เรียกว่า “สวนสมรม” เช่น มังคุด เงาะ ทุเรียน สะตอ ชุมชนบ้านคีรีวง แบ่งออกเป็นหลายกลุ่มได้แก่ กลุ่มมัดย้อม กลุ่มสมุนไพร กลุ่มจักสานกะลามะพร้าว กลุ่มแปรรูปน้ำผลไม้ กลุ่มไวน์ และกลุ่มทุเรียน
